I went to an interview today. Everything went well except for the duration of the assignment. You see, I signed up with a temporary agency because I don’t want a long-term work assignment. I am looking for a very specific position and I am very persistent about getting that position. Everything else is just paying the bills in the interim.

And the agency sent me to a job that may have me working 5 months or longer. I told the client that it may not work out due to the job being too long. I could have just kept my mouth shut and not say anything, but…

Am I wrong to be so upfront and honest?
