Since I started on the topic of boots, I will expand on the topic just a little bit more before moving on to something else. After my Aldo boots purchase, I went to Nordstrom Rack and lo and behold, I found something fun to wear that’s similar to my Aldo boots, but more of a beater. I got myself a pair of vegan boots at a ridiculous price of … under $40. Here’s the MIA Jania mid-calf boots.

The only “weird” feature about these that I am not used to is that the zipper is on the outside and not on the inside, like most of my other boots. So every time I am taking off these boots, I am reaching at the “wrong” side. It’s super comfy and for those that do not do leather, this is a really affordable alternative.

I also got myself a pair of Clarks Okemo Sienna Boots. I normally would not go for this style, but for some reason when I had it on, it was actually really cute and comfy. The side zipper that’s shown is actually a faux zipper for decor only. It was on sale, so I think I paid $100+ taxes on it. You can wear it up like the photo below, or you can wear it unbuttoned.

I am now waiting for a pair of calf high boots. I may or may not do a review on it. I have very muscular calf (calves?) that usually do not fit into “normal” tiny calf high boots, so I went ahead and ordered myself a wider calf boots. The reason why I may not review it is because I am very particular about the style of the boots. If I don’t love it, it will go back and the search will start all over again, so that’s that…

Whew…I think I am all set for winter. Now for really cute boot socks with fluffy pom poms…
