Giveaway: Chocolates!

The Black Box Chocolates from Recchiuti is one of their best sellers. 16 pieces of chocolates that includes their signature chocolate, the Burnt Caramel.

My favorites include the Burnt Caramel, Pearl Mint Tea, Lavender Vanilla, Ginger Heart (so pretty!) and the Sesame Nougat.

Why did I choose Recchiuti chocolates as my blog’s 2nd anniversary giveaway? I love chocolates! I love artisan chocolates and I love that Recchiuti is located locally and really exemplifies artisan chocolates made in San Francisco. These chocolates are not only yummy, but beautiful to look at. I hope you are as excited as I am about this and I hope you will take part in this giveaway.

  1. Lovely giveaway! I follow you via my wordpress account and via email (psyxx(at)centrum(dot)cz).

  2. If you are a piece of chocolate, what flavor would you be and why?
I would be a spicy chilli chocolate, because I love to have a little of “spice” in my life and I can behave in a “chilli” way 🙂

  3. If I were a piece or flavor of chocolate it would be milk chocolate with caramel. I am sweet and I have a tendency to spread myself around in helping others.

    • 5 & 6. Awe. That’s so sweet! Thanks for answering (playing) today’s question, Maureen. Check back tomorrow for a new question. 🙂

  4. 70% Dark Chocolate – I’m deep and dark in my thinking and in my writing.

  5. I would be milk chocolate – I’m very sweet and melt easily when touched by someone’s warm gesture.

  6. Oh my gosh, this is my kind of giveaway. I visited Recchiuti at the Ferry Market when I was in San Fran last October. Those burnt caramel chocolates are DA BOMB!! If I were a chocolate, obviously I would be a ginger infused chocolate…like my blog name 🙂

  9. If I were chocolate, I would be sweet with spice … dark chocolate and ginger! You rock, ft! xo iz

  10. Wait did I miss it?!?! Lisa please let me know. I was gone this weekend on a trip so I hope I didn’t miss it. I will be following you on twitter so tweet me there how I can get back into this contest 🙂

    • 18. Hi Kay. Thanks for following me on twitter. You didn’t miss it at all. You are now in! 🙂
19 & 20. Also, your answer to the 2/13 Question is correct! Congratulations! I have to make the question harder for tomorrow. LOL. Thanks for playing! 😀
(By the way, I will post your comment on the correct answer later after this little contest is over.)

      • You can’t make it harder just because I knew that quote LOL. You have to make it easy I’m trying to win over here LMAO

        • You made me laugh so much here that people are staring at me. Hm..I actually don’t know what I will ask tomorrow (honest), but then it will probably be easy for you anyway. 😀 Good luck and I will come over to your blog later to check out what you have featuring today. I always need some time to do this because you feature such beautiful and cool things over there. 🙂

        • Girl, I am always laughing at work and people think I’m crazy LOL. I will say this and leave you be lol.. If you lived in my area.. we would definitely be headed out to lunch right now to talk about quotes and chocolate ;).

    • 24 & 25. Hi Kay. Your welcome! 🙂 So glad you are playing this and you still have time to play the other questions you haven’t answer yet. And yes, you answered correctly on today’s (2/15) question. I am not posting your answer until this game is over, but you now have two more entries!

      • 26 & 27. Hi Kay. Yes, your answer to the quote on 2/16 is correct. Let me tell you a secret, I don’t know that many quotes so I had to find ones that I like. Lol. So if I enter my own raffle, I would be at lost on some of these. Lol. For obvious reasons, I will post your answer later. Thanks for playing & 2 more questions already posted. So play away.

  11. Oh and the answer to this was easy. I love this quote.. “There are no foreign lands. It is the traveler only who is foreign.” Robert Louis Stevenson

  12. Hi Lisa, I liked this post and also your weekend photo post. I’m hoping to win some yummy chocolates!!

    p.s. Thanks for the head’s up 😉

  13. Hi Donald, you gave me the correct person that said the quote, but you didn’t fill in the blanks of the two words missing. Try again and I will give you the two entries. Thanks for playing! 🙂

  14. I got the answer to today’s quote of course.. and thanks for keeping it easy ;). You know I love quotes. “Research tells us that fourteen out of any ten individuals like chocolate.” – Sandra Boynton

  15. Okay.. I will admit it.. I did not know this quote lol. But I did not google it since I consider that cheating.. a good friend at work knew the quote (thank God). So here we go.. “The snow goose need not bathe to make itself white. Neither need you do anything but be yourself.” – Lao Tzu

  16. 17/2 – favorite meal: millet with dried fruits, nuts and chocolate sauce 🙂

    • 28 & 29. Hi Lena, Yes, your answer to 2/16’s quote is correct. Will post your comment later.
      30 & 31. And this is for 2/17. 🙂

  17. 18/2 – My most memorabel vacation was last year in Norway. I travelled all alone only with a backpack and visit the whole southern part of Norway. I met only few people on my way and I cleared my head and my soul and felt like a new person when I came back home 🙂

    • 42 & 43. Hi Lenna. Thank you for sharing. Norway sounds like an awesome place to visit and especially wanted to see the Northern lights one day. 🙂

  18. If I was a piece of chocolate right now, I’d be a dark chocolate almond butter pretzel – trying to be sophisticated on the outside, but fun (and a little bit nuts) once you get to know me.

  19. 2/13 question: “There are no foreign lands. It is the traveler only who is foreign.” – Robert Louis Stevenson

  20. 2/14 question: I can think of a few things that might fit this description, but I’m going to guess sweet potato.

  21. 2/15 question: “Research tells us that fourteen out of any ten individuals like chocolate.” – Sandra Boynton

  22. 2/16 question: “The snow goose need not bathe to make itself white. Neither need you do anything but be yourself.” – Lao Tzu

  23. 2/17 question: Now you’re getting into difficult questions again! I think the best meal I ever had was elk steak, a baked potato with sour cream, homegrown green peas, a green salad from our garden, a couple of glasses of a nice red wine, and a bit of dark chocolate for dessert. It wasn’t for any particular occasion, but for some reason everything turned out really well that day. That kind of meal is an all-time favourite both because it’s really tasty and because it’s simple to prepare.

    • Hi ikkinlala.
      36 & 37. yes to 2/15 quote.
      38 & 39. yes to 2/16 quote.
40 & 41 Thank you for answering this question. Like you, I have a very difficult time answering about my fave meal or fave food but I think you answered nicely here. 🙂

  24. 2/18 question: One of the most memorable places I’ve visited is Cody Caves, because it’s the only real cave system (more than just a rock overhang) that I’ve ever been in. I went there when I was about twelve and I still think about it almost every time caves are mentioned.

    • 44 & 45. Thanks ikkinlala. That’s a great childhood memory and sounds like an awesome place to explore. I will have to check it out on one of my online travel days. I really appreciate you sharing, thanks for playing and good luck to you! 🙂
