Happy Friday! Because Friday is such a sweet day, I have decided that I am going to write about Yogorino today.

Yogorino is a yogurt shop that started in Italy and now they are all over the world. Yogorino serves probiotic yogurt that is delicious and purportedly, good for you. G introduced to this yogurt one day and now I can’t go back to some of the other ones. There are only 5 other yogurt places I like in the City and now because of Yogorino, I cut it down to 3. Goodbye mediocre yogurt! Hello Yogorino!

The texture of the yogurt is smooth, creamy, and despite the yogurt being a yogurt (sorry for being so redundant here but I don’t know what words to use besides yogurt), it actually tastes very much like an ice cream with a bit of tartness to it. In fact, it almost tastes like it’s bad for you, but supposedly it’s good for you. You know…like how can something so good be so good?!?  😉

Despite having only one choice of flavor, the yogurt is quite versatile. You can enjoy this yogurt plain (what we prefer) or top it with different sauces like the chocolate sauce (see picture below) that freezes on top of the yogurt (how cool is that, right?) and/or sprinkle it with different toppings like coconut (luv coconut) or a pomegranate sauce (OMG!) or top with different fruits.

Since Yogorino is now franchised world-wide, there’s probably one near you. Enjoy and let us know how you like to top your Yogorino.
