It was a good thing G and I decided to have a snack before boarding the Red and White Fleet because our sunset cruise sponsored by Groupon was packed with people.

As we walked in, there were already two huge lines (one on main deck and another one upstairs) of people waiting to be served at the bar.  Free booze is always an attraction.

They had some food spread out in the main area (crudites, sourdough bread, cheeses, salami, etc) but nothing really stood out that we wanted, so we skipped the food on-board.  I think they got their food from Boudin too, but we thought our turkey harvarti sandwich from earlier rocked, so we didn’t need anymore food at that moment.

G and I decided to head toward the back of the boat to wait out the booze line. We are not into jostling with people for stuff, and besides, we were just happy to be together again after a stressful work week.  Took a few photos of the water, and just relaxed…

After the boat departed from the port, we got a bottle of Anchor Steam beer and a ginger ale.  We enjoyed them while we took turn taking pictures of us, the sea, Alcatraz, Golden Gate Bridge, Oakland Bridge, other boats, and some ferocious seagulls determined on following our boat.  See my slideshow below. 😀

All in all, we thought it was appropriate that Anchor Steam was one of the selected beer at this event.  Not only is it a San Francisco brew, it features the anchor logo. And we are on a boat y’all!  Woohoo!
