I saw the above quote for the first time today, yet I am drawn to it. Home is heaven. I mean that in both the spiritual and the physical sense.

Saw the pretty blossoms the other day while walking and excitedly noted that Spring is coming.
Proof is on the trees. Yes, it’s still 30 something degrees at night and we are shivering before/after the sun rise/sets. But, undeniably, Spring has arrived.
And soon, snow will probably start to melt in the mountains far from us, but not before a month or so more of skiing.
And maybe more rain? Some gentle rain, yes! Please don’t pour too much at once though. Spread it out a little across the States and months. Thank you! 🙂

I am taking this opportunity to call out a few holidays and observances. (Some of them happened already, but I have been busy, so maybe this weekend is where I will roll everything into one and do a nice little dinner.)
- Happy Chinese New Year
- Happy Birthday President Lincoln
- Happy Mardi Gras
- Happy Valentine’s (or Pillow Fight Day!!! 🙂 )
- Happy President’s Day (coming up)
Wishing all a Happy, Healthy, and Prosperous year!
Also, I am wishing for a peaceful, loving, and hopefully furry (but no allergies) home life. Yes, I said furry and no allergy 🙂
The blossoms I am envious of!! The quote is absolutely perfect and so true. Thanks for sharing!

Hi CCU, your comment was in my spam box, almost got deleted. Thank you so much for your well wishes and your compliment, also. Since you are a day ahead, I hope you had a wonderful Valentine’s Day. 🙂
