I have read somewhere that one of the reasons why we have so many holidays and festivities in the winter is because it’s often time one of the bluest of the season, thus people need some cheering up both physically and mentally. Given what happened all over the nation (world) recently, I think we all need some light. Let there be light…

You are right that holidays lights and colorful decorations light up one’s life on dreary cold winter days. Luckily, here in Madrid it may be chilly but the sun does not stop shining and sky is always blue =) Happy new year!
