Nia and I wanted to eat at Mission Chinese Food, but we got fed up with the wait time, so we ended up in Gracias Madre, an organic and vegan Mexican restaurant.
Verdict? YUMMY~
I was especially excited to see nopales (grilled prickly pear cactus) on the menu which I don’t see in a lot of restaurants.
LIKE: I don’t know what they put in the black beans, but it was delish!

This is a bit more expensive than your average Mexican restaurants in the Mission, but with quality ingredients, I think it’s well-worth it. They also have an extensive organic drink list that includes organic wines and organic beers on tap.
