Hello Sunshine!

Last month I was nominated for the Liebster award and now once again, I am so excited, honored, and humbled because Renée from Cravesadventure nominated me for another…the Sunshine Award!

Cravesadventure  is a blog about inspirational living and travels and I have recently told her that she’s like my blog fairy, constantly reminding and inspiring me~ So Renée, thank you, thank you, thank you…

This award comes with some rules and

The Rules are . . .

  • Thank the person who gave you the award.
  • Write a post about it.
  • Answer the questions that come with it.
  • Pass it along to 10 people and let them know they have received it.
  • Answer the following questions . . .

Favorite Color:  I don’t have one because I love almost all the colors under the rainbow!  (ha ha)  I have to say that because I am so indecisive when it comes to color.  Beside the color black being a stable, I am really into white, beige, brown, light pink, and light green lately, so those are my favs for now–

Favorite Number:  Don’t really have one.

Favorite Non-Alcoholic Drink:  Hm…I like water, tea, and blood orange Italian soda. And I also like Chinese dessert drinks like red bean soup (I know it’s a soup, but it can be made into a dessert drink), or Vietnamese iced coffee or Thai iced tea, or Russian Kefir drinks… Okay, I think I will have to end this here because the list can be quite long~

Facebook or Twitter:  I have twitter for this blog but I am really not on there much…

My Passion:  living an eclectic life

Getting or Giving Presents:  I like to give but I realized that I need to receive also because I may need the help and/or that I deserved to have what is being given to me because someone took the time and energy to get it for me. Or if it’s not someone, it’s an opportunity that I deserved to have. Thus, the present is not just an object or just an experience, it may be a thoughtful gift. In the past, receiving presents and or new experiences from others always made me feel uncomfortable and I will rush out to repay them in some way like getting them a gift back or doing some thing, but I read on another blog that being able to receive is a blessing and that we should embrace it. We don’t necessarily need to do something in return because we may have already done something before and now the universe is sending us a gift through others. So universe, I am ready and comfortable about receiving all of your blessings now! 🙂

Favorite Pattern:  I don’t understand this question. Pattern as in design? I guess I like pretty patterns. Lol.

Favorite Day of the Week:  Friday, friday, friday…(la la la)

Favorite Flower:  Gardenia

And now, I am nominating these 10 blogs…

this life, designed::  we shape our lives and then our lives shape us. A blog fill with inspirational poems, personal vignettes and beautiful designs.

Angela Shella: Jazz singer, song writer, and inspirational blogger. She wrote the post about giving/receiving. See it here.  It’s great!

The Spamwise Chronicles: A blog devoted to the beauty of food, cooking seasonally and eating well. His dishes look amazing and so delicious. Aside from cooking, I think he’s also an amazing food photographer.

The Sasu Post: She lives in Costa Rica by the beach and wears her havaianas everywhere she goes…

on the road with Animalcouriers: they transport your pets through Europe (and beyond) so that families can reunite. I love looking at all the cute pets~

Cultural Life: A blog about culture and all aspects of life…

Rantings of an Amateur Chef: Great blog to check out if you like to cook and eat. Just started reading him, but already think he’s great.

brian westby: He’s a really good writer with a great voice and amazing ability to help transport you there inside his stories…see, hear, feel, and be moved by his characters and their nostalgic stories.

Domestic Diva, M.D.: Just started reading her and I think she’s smart and have really good stories + recipes on her blog.

9 great blogs but so many more I read and continue to discover… So the 10th is for all of those blogs. You know who you are… 🙂  Thanks to all for your continual support of me and of fLVE and I think you guys are all amazing and inspiring~

  1. A small correction — I am the author and owner of The Spamwise Chronicles, and I’m a guy, not a gal. 🙂

    • Hi Stash, sorry about that. I just corrected the mistake. 🙂 I still think you are great though. I love all the photos and the use of color.

  2. I loved learning more about you :). You are such a great blogger and a wonderful person to have “met” through this medium :). Congrats on winning this award.. because you know I believe you deserve it :). And Congrats to all the recipients

  4. Thank you for the nomination. When I see your blog photos, it makes me want to take a trip and explore the world. By the way, am I suppose to give this award to 10 other people?

    • Hi Angela, Thank you for the compliment!:) As for the award, that’s what it says, however, you can decide how many blogs you want to give to should you decide to do it. Although I don’t know much of the origin of the blog awards, to me, they are more of a recognition to blogs you like and promotes readership. Congratulations. 🙂
