Lately, it has been all about brunch. We went to Cotogna (‘Quince’ in Italian) recently and tried a few things.
Chef Michael Tusk has been recently awarded with the 2011 James Beard Award for “Best Chef – Pacific” so it was a big deal. But even before that, we have wanted to try this place because we passed by a few times and it was always busy at night.
Cotogna is located in the historic Jackson Square area (more on this later) while its sister restaurant, Quince (used to be in Pacific Heights neighborhood) is situated next door.
We pretty much like everything and especially the yummy preserves and the pizza. Hope you all like the photos and drop by and give them a try if you are in the area.
I LOVE LOVE these photos Foodtable. The place looks great and I wish I could come lol.
Lol, I am sure you can, but somebody’s going to Paris…so me thinks you should keep that goal. 🙂
Oh that ricotta spread and pizza look wonderful. Great post.
Thank you! 🙂 I had a great time taking pictures of food. Lol.
