I met my friend R here because I was going to a show nearby and this was her friday night hangout.  This is a great restaurant to try if you want something solid.  It’s not very touristy despite the fact that it is near the Time Square area.

Even though the pasta here is outstanding according to my friend, we both ordered salads.  My reason is that I haven’t really eaten decent vegetables since I left San Francisco.  I miss my vegetables (sigh).

While my friend had the house salad, I had the Tricolore salad.  We both shared the calamari and an ice cream desert, Tartufo.  When G saw the desert picture, he said, “my goodness…looks like something awful happened.”

LOL, yes, but it tasted good.
