Had brunch with a former colleague today. We met at Mama’s, but the line was too long, so ended up at Rose Pistola.  He had the egg sandwich (eggs with bacon on a focassia roll) and came with house potatoes.  I had the smoked salmon with poached eggs.  Had a good conversation about work. It’s always interesting to get different perspectives, especially since he used to work in a different department and definitely a good networking opportunity.
