Cordon Bleu Vietnamese Restaurant

Yes, with summer coming, I had eaten more salads than usual. But I also hadn’t gone over to the other side. I do enjoy my greasy, comfort foods after all. And one of the comforts about coming to Cordon Bleu is knowing that the food will be good and cheap. This hole-in-the-wall restaurant with limited sitting has been around for a very long time. Regulars often visit here and order their famous meat-sauce rice with Imperial rolls and crisp-charred meat and their famous 5-spiced chicken. Their portions are huge. I can eat-in and take most of the food home for lunch the next day. And the prices are very reasonable. I tried everything on their menu and can say that everything is good. My favorite items are their five-spiced chicken, pork chop rice that comes with the green salad (pictured here)
and I also like to order a side of their imperial roll (pictured).
My vegetarian favorites (sometimes I don’t like to eat meat) is their tofu stirred fried with shiitake and a lot of hot spices. So delicious.
