just checking in…

Hi. I haven’t updated my blog in a while. To be honest, I have been super busy with work and life. I guess it’s good that I am keeping busy… I am sorry if I neglected my readers but if you followed me for a while, you know what happened and under these circumstances, I hope you also understand why I wouldn’t be keen on updating a blog but rather live my life in the here and now. I am assuming (and I hope that doesn’t make an ass out of me (smiles)) that you all have a life of your own that preoccupied you. It’s always fun to venture outside of oneself though and peek into another and live vicariously through them when they are doing something fun and unexpected. So here I am — in the midst of September updating this humble blog and peeking into that world. I don’t want to over promise and under deliver by saying that I will be consistently updating this blog from here on nor would I say that I will swing by and visit each one of you. I did that before and didn’t do much of it. Maybe just a few of you… Not that I don’t want to though. I do miss some of you and your great blogs. So by and by, I will do so. Just don’t like saying that I will do something and then disappoint by not doing things immediately as we do live in a rather “immediate” “must-do now” type of society what with all the sharing social media and the other one that I shall not name that starts with a letter “f”. And to this day I still don’t have because I don’t see the point. In fact, the little bird “t” that I do subscribe to is also becoming a bit irrelevant to me.

It’s now mid-September (you know you are getting old when you keep mentioning the month of the year. Lol) and the year is almost over. How time flew by. I miss some of you. Granted, I really don’t know a lot of my readers. I just know that we have something in common. Is it food? Is it photography? Is it travel? Is it something else? Share them with me if you like. I may actually click back.

  3. I was thinking about you the other day. La Vie Eclectique was one of the first blogs I found and followed when I began my WordPress blog. I like your travel and food posts and I like your style of writing.

    Take all the time you need. Your readers will be here waiting when you are ready to post. 🙂

    • Thanks Grace! Thought about popping back in more than once but just didn’t feel it until today… Thanks so much for your support! I just read your August book review. I love the post. I am going to read one of the books this weekend. 🙂

Live the life/portion of your beloved’s as well, and live well as the name of your blog, La Vie Eclectique and comment above, “Life’s too short to stay quiet.     I’m sure we all understand why you don’t post as often as you do. Other things take priority. I had to drop my blogging schedule altogether this month, so I sympathise with you. But it’s great to hear from you again!
