We recently had brunch at Cafe 21 in San Diego. Cafe 21 has two locations, and we went to the one in Gaslamp District. Gaslamp is a very happening place to be. It’s filled with restaurants and clubs and near Petco Park.
For brunch at Cafe 21, we had Rose Garden ice tea, Strawberry Toast, and a prosciutto omelet. (Side note: The ingenuiTEA is really cool to use. You pop that on top of the cup and it pours as much tea as you like to drink, so the ice doesn’t dilute the tea so quickly.)
All delicious. The service was good. Our server is a surfer and was talking to another table about how he was excited about going surfing after his shift’s over. 🙂 Give them a try if you are in the area.

When I visited San Diego last year I did not make it to the Gaslamp district like I planned. If I go back I will have to put this place on my list – thanks for sharing! Happy Monday!

I love that place! I used to eat there a couple of years ago when they only had one location located in El Cajon…their French toast is so good!
Glad to hear that, Frances. We didnt go to the UH location because it was too far, but we definitely like this place and would eat here again next time.
