There are many instances in life where we are faced with decisions. Some large. Some small. Some major. Some minor.
Do we go about making choices by:
- Making a pro/con list?
- Flip a coin?
- Ask the magic 8 ball?
- Read minds?
- Consult with mentors?
- Make the best possible decision we can by doing research and then…cross our fingers and hope we are right?
- Listen to your heart?
What if you don’t know or unsure? How do we choose what is right for us in the end? What do we do as we stand in the middle of a fork in the road?
Or does it really matter…
“One day Alice came to a fork in the road and saw a Cheshire cat in a tree. Which road do I take? she asked. Where do you want to go? was his response. I don’t know, Alice answered. Then, said the cat, it doesn’t matter.” –Lewis Carroll (Alice’s Adventure in Wonderland)
