Virtual Travel: Idyllic Ireland

Some of you may remember that I had planned for an Irish vacation a few years ago, but instead, stuff happened. Though I enjoyed all of my trips and travels thus far, I have not forgotten about Ireland.

Ireland (and many other places) is still on my “TO VISIT” list, but right now, I am just going to day dream a little bit. With St. Paddy’s day coming up on Saturday, this provides a great opportunity to virtual travel to Ireland and to share with you what I would like to see (plenty of places) and of course, eat (calcannon and some hearty breakfasts), when I do eventually visit this magically emerald place.

Happy St. Patrick’s Everyone! <3

Even if you don’t celebrate this day (or for some, it’s the whole week!!!), you can still enjoy the beautiful photos and daydream with me. And please come back tomorrow on where to go to grab some yummy Irish food in San Francisco.

  1. Love your pics – thanks for sharing! Ireland is on my travel bucket list. We were planning to go there for our honeymoon but there was some uprising or riot going on and travel was not advised. I am hoping to go for our 10th Wedding Anniversary in a few years, give us time to sock some monies away until then. Have a Great Day:)

    • Hi Renee, thank you. All pictures on this post are repinned from Pinterest. I hope you get to go to Ireland for your 10th Anniversary! :) Yes, definitely, I need to save some money to go to Ireland as well. Seeing that rainbow is definitely a good sign. Did you find the pot of gold? Lol. Have a great day and Happy St. Patrick’s! More St. Patrick’s theme posts coming up…

  2. Sorry – one more thing. Happy St. Paddy’s Day!!! Saw the most beautiful rainbow on the way to work this morning – must be a sign of good things to come:)

  3. Wow.. I am in aww from what you’ve displayed here. Just look at the food and the stunning waterfall.. yup I’m in heaven with this post :)

    • Thank you Kay! It’s really nice to relax after a day’s work and just imagine yourself there… The waterfall does look amazing. I love those cliffs too. Do you know that I had the catalog for Ireland in my bag every day when I was planning for my vacation and then I was really sad when I had to changed my plans but it’s all for the best. And I will be going there. Glad you are enjoying and have a great weekend. :)
